The feeling of desperation is pervasive. Posting to dozens of job boards using ZipRecruiter (or your ATS), sponsoring ads on Indeed, rewriting different versions of your job posts, and even retaining staffing firms often produces nothing more than exasperation. It seems no matter what you do you end up with an inbox full of unqualified applicants ... or worse, none at all.
Unbeknownst to many recruiters and HR people, Google in mid-2017 changed the way your company's job posts are displayed when it launched Google for Jobs. That wouldn't be such a big deal except that any job posted on Indeed is NOT indexed by Google.
Let me repeat that. Any job posted on Indeed does NOT show up in Google for Jobs search.
Fortunately, there's one recruiting marketing trick that more than 9 out of 10 recruiters don't know about. You're in the perfect spot to increase your job posting visibility and job search rankings before your competition catches on.
My new video course is designed to help you stand out. This Google for Jobs Online Course has taken me months of research including dissecting dozens of articles and speaking with both SEO and recruiting experts. Because marketing and Search Engine Optimization basics are not every day strategies and tools use by HR and recruiters, I did my best to uncomplicate the super-geeky-techie language and write in terms you can understand.
My goal was to provide an introduction to Google for Jobs and an easy-to-implement strategy to gain more visibility and higher rankings. As an SMB (small or medium business) you may not be able to out spend your competition...but you can outsmart them. This course will show you how.
